Trip to Gatlinburg

March 12-15

We took Ben on his second vaction (another trip to Gatlinburg ;-) ha ha).
Seriously, my Mom and Dad had a two bedroom condo, so they invited us up for a few days.
Ben absolutely loved spending time with his grandparents. Ben loves his Granddaddy and the way he rode us around in his truck. Ben loved the Knife Factory where he got to see lots of running water, waterfalls and of course.... dancing bears!!! We really had a great trip other than the fact that Ben got a cold and started running a fever. Unfortunatley I got sick as well. :-(

We made a short trip home to visit family. Here is a few shots. One is of Ben with his Uncle Thomas and Aunt Niki. One is when he fell asleep in his Gran's arms.

Ben's First Swimming Lesson

Ben's first time in the pool was great! He is 8 months old now and loves the water! We signed him up for parent and tot swim classes at the YMCA. He loves them! He loves to splash around and kick his legs. Here are a few pictures from is first time getting in the pool.

Ben's Christening

JANUARY 17, 2009

Ben is christened today at our church, Dunwoody United Methodist Church. I was nervous about him crying or being too loud, but he was a perfect ANGEL!! He stayed awake, was wide-eyed when the preacher christened him and then promptly fell asleep in my arms for the rest of the service. Ingrid and my parents were there to share in this joyous event.

Ben gets invited to a birthday party

Our next door neighbor's little girl, Delaney, turned one. Ben got invited to her birthday party at Gymboree. It was lots of fun. Ben had a great time at his first birthday party. He got to go down slides, ride a rocking horse, bounce and have a great time.

seriously, his great Aunt Helen bought this cute jacket for Ben for Christmas.
